Hi! I am Xiaoxi (Cici) Dong, a passionate UX designer and educator with a unique blend of expertise in user experience design, learning sciences, and early childhood education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from New York University and a Master’s degree in Learning Sciences and Technologies from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently pursuing a Master of Information with a concentration in User Experience at the University of Toronto, I bring a rich academic foundation of designing innovative solutions. My background as an educator informs my design philosophy, emphasizing empathy, accessibility, and a user-centered approach. Fluent in Chinese and English with a working knowledge of Cantonese, I thrive in multicultural and multilingual contexts, using tools like Figma and Canva to create impactful, intuitive designs.
